Anahid Shahrik is founder and CEO of Steel Grey Productions, a public relations company based in Los Angeles.  She is a versatile public relations executive offering 15 years experience servicing national and local clients across industry sectors including hospitality, food and beverage, consumer products, lifestyle, sports and fitness, arts and entertainment, theatre arts and publishing. She is a seasoned producer creating corporate videos, infomercials and commercials from development to post.  As a theatre producer, Anahid manages all aspects of a production including casting, scheduling, stage management, marketing and promotion.  Anahid is also a journalist for Splash Magazine Worldwide writing reviews for restaurants and movies, and features on the lifestyles of the luxurious. 


Anahid is a precise, detailed and ever dynamic communicator and storyteller.  She is an eternal optimist, a positive force whose passion, enthusiasm and creativity shines through in her work.  She is a fierce media relations expert integrating her broadcast TV and radio experience with tenacious, media savvy qualities and strategic relationships. 


Anahid began her career in radio at WBZ Radio in Boston as producer for WBZ Radio staples Dave Maynard, popular night time talk show host Larry Glick and award-winning issues oriented talk show hosts Peter Meade and David Brudnoy.  She coordinated interviews with former presidents, heads of state, renowned authors and local and national politicians.  Key interviews included former President Jimmy Carter and former White House Chief of Staff Donald Regan who authored the book For the Record; From Wall Street to Washington


After much success on the radio side, Anahid moved to NBC affiliate WBZ-TV and produced People Are Talking, for then host Tom Bergeron (Daytime Emmy winner and host of Dancing with the Stars).  She followed with various stints in broadcast TV include working with CBS affiliate WNEV-TV’s consumer reporter Phyllis Eliasberg and as general assignment reporter/anchor for Comcast Cable.  Broadcast led to a career in public relations as agency producer and account executive managing accounts and producing national public service campaigns including Fair Housing Opens Doors for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Fair Housing Alliance and National Depression Awareness for the National Institute of Mental Health.  Under the Secretary of Health and Human Services, she worked with the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports promoting health, physical activity, and fitness for all ages.  She produced a series of national TV and radio spots with then council president Arnold Schwarzenegger. 


Anahid continued her work in PR with New York agency Earle Palmer Brown (EPB) supervising accounts including Citibank, Old Navy and Tumi Luggage.  From EPB, she joined Plus Media and AngelWorks producing Satellite Media Tours securing top market television placements for renowned authors including Arthur Agatston of The South Beach Diet fame and Mireille Guiliano who penned French Women Don’t Get Fat.


Anahid received her BA in Communications with a minor in English and Economics at Simmons College in Boston.  In addition to her PR and production work, she is an accomplished stage and film actor and professionally trained dancer.  She is a graduate of the famed Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in New York.  She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Armenian Dramatic Arts Alliance.
